“Go up on the high mountain, bringer of good tidings to Zion. Lift up your voice with strength, O you who bring good tidings to Jerusalem; Lift up, don’t be afraid. Say unto the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”
Founded in 1984.
Welcome to Trumpet of Salvation to Israel – founded by Jacob Damkani in 1984. We are called to preach the Gospel of Yeshua haMashiach (Jesus Christ) “to the Jew first” and also to the Gentiles. Trumpet of Salvation to Israel is dedicated to bringing the Jewish Messiah to the Jewish people, in a Jewish way, so that God’s covenant people may recognize their own Messiah – the Messiah, long-awaited over many generations, and who was promised to their forefathers. But he was made “strange” to them through long and tragic interactions with people and churches who were not true followers of Yeshua (Jesus). We invite you to “walk around” a little in these pages. Get to know us, read our newsletters and testimonies, have a look at our picture gallery, read our publications, see our video clips and download some of our teaching… We hope that you will join us in our calling to bring salvation to the people of God.

Jacob Damkani was born by the Sea of Galilee into a religious Jewish family. Jacob came to faith when a Gentile believer opened his eyes to Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. It was then that the vision for Trumpet of Salvation to Israel was conceived. He returned to Israel where he began composing and printing tracts about the Gospel in the basement of his parents’ home, distributing them on the streets of Tel Aviv. At this time there were only a few hundred Jewish believers in Israel.
Is it really enough to wear a kippa and grow a beard? It seemed to me that God was more interested in my heart than in my clothes or in my appearance. But I was yet to know how to give Him my heart. From childhood, I had longed to experience the love of God in its fullness. But the fear of betraying the God of Israel, betraying my Jewish heritage and my family, made me bitterly resent Christianity. Many Israelis share in this fear.
